I’m so excited to be ready to go, ready to add some sass to blogs and websites (and someday, even paper products) everywhere! I’m excited to meet you, your businesses, your personal blogs, you! And, I love exclamation marks!

“Now THAT’s what I want people to know about me.”

Not in words, but in colors, and textures, and artwork. And that breath of fresh air that is just tinged with your personality.

Welcome to Sassyfruit Studios.

In a lot of ways, starting a business is like digging through your personality and trying to find the things about yourself you’re proud of, and then desperately hiding those things (we all have them) that you’d rather not see the light of day. Like crafting the persona you’re going to use when you attend your 10-year high school reunion. Because really, none of them have seen you in, well, 10 years, so really you can be anyone you want to be. Of course, for a long term thing like a business, the more you try to hide about yourself the harder it is to be authentic. The harder it is to have an original voice. An original style. And then of course, there’s the inevitable slip-up looming on the horizon. Cause you and I both know that if I meticulously craft a grungy gangsta website to reflect my super awesome new business, that one day those crafty colors and layouts are going to come crashing down on my head, and my customers will be like “where did THAT come from?”

So.

I’m working on my business identity. In the meantime, expect this site to change. Perhaps even drastically, until I settle in to something. Or until I change my mind. Again.
